The Leveret

The Leveret, (the same word in French or English) refers to a young hare. The gîte got its name from a gorgeous young hare who visited us every morning whilst we were renovating what was originally an old barn building. He was curious and not at all afraid and we fell a little bit in love with him. The décor in the newly modernised gite reflects his presence on the job and, we like to think, his endorsement of our efforts. The gite has complimentary high-speed broadband and satellite TV.

Your entrance is via a lovely old reclaimed stable door with olive trees in terracotta pots welcoming you through the door.

Entering the Leveret into the kitchen and dining area you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, gas hob, and oven.

The kitchen table can seat 6 people and has a beautiful double-sided woodburning stove warming both the kitchen and the lounge and providing a cosy focal point during the chillier months.

From the kitchen and dining room, step into the inviting lounge featuring a comfortable L-shaped corner sofa. Enjoy satellite TV, a coffee table with a curated selection of books for both children and adults, and a cupboard stocked with board games—perfect for cosy evenings in.

Spacious double-glazed patio doors open onto your private terrace, where you can savour a leisurely breakfast with fresh coffee and croissants from the local boulangerie or unwind with sundowners as you take in the breathtaking sunset.

Adjacent to the lounge, you’ll find a cozy bedroom featuring a double bunk bed on top and a single bed below—perfect for children.

At the far end of the Leveret, you’ll find a relaxing double bedroom and a well-appointed family bathroom. The bathroom features a toilet, basin, heated towel rail, and a rainfall shower for ultimate comfort.
